1940s Slip Dress 

Embrace vintage charm with this exquisite 1940s slip dress from Lulu Boop Vintage. The dress features intricate embroidery on the chest, complemented by delicate lace detailing on both the chest and hem.

In great condition, it has been enhanced with a satin ribbon to cinch the waist, and is available in a variation for added style. It didn’t fit my Medium mannequin, so it’s likely a Size XS/S. Please check the measurements to ensure the best fit.

This slip dress is a beautiful blend of classic elegance and modern refinement, perfect for any vintage enthusiast. I would definetely wear it as a summer dress.

For your reference the mannequin is a women size Medium and it’s measurements are: It didn’t fit.

Bust: 88 cm / 34.64”

Waist: 66 cm / 25.98”

Hips: 90 cm / 35.43”

The model is a size Small and her Measurements are:

Bust: 85 cm / 33.46”

Waist: 71 cm / 27.95”

Hips: 90cm / 35.43”

High: 5.28 Feet

Any accessories used in the picture are not included, there are there to show how the outfit could be worn or a decorative object. I need to be honest. I sell Vintage and Antique Clothing and I would say anything before 30s should be treated with care and worn with care. Mostly these items will be fragile especially 20s silk or Edwardian very fine Muslin.  Some can not handle stress and will tear easily. Should be bought a size bigger where possible or should be a little loose on.
